My name is Sonya Stroud, and I'm your certified event planner and designer. I created Socially Eventful with a passion and love for creativity and style. I started planning events in 2012 for friends and family but soon realized this was something I totally enjoyed and eventually wanted to turn my hobby into a business. So I got my certification as a wedding/ event planner from Ashworth College and attended design classes at the NY Institute of Art & Design. Soon after receiving my credentials, I was in business.
Moreover, my passion for design and eye for detail has allowed me to create simple to lavishly outrageous events throughout the years. Ultimately, I enjoy making the unthinkable possible and seeing the surprise of joy on the faces of my clients after the finished product.
